World Junior's

It is the second intermission and can not help to notice that Canada this year seems to be lacking with their passing cohesion when compared to years previous. They are playing well but just can not find the groove where they know exactly where their teammates are. Jake Allen has looked a little shaky at moments but has seemed to have calmed down with some key saves on the penalty kill and will now try to keep the door closed in the 3rd period to vault Canada to it's 6th consecutive gold medal. No matter what happens it will surely be an exciting finish to a great tournament.

Waiting and Hoping

Well the playoff picture is almost set and congrats to Houston for pulling out a comeback win over the Patriots in the 4th quarter, even though it broke my heart. Though it was not the Patriots losing that hurt me but the bind it puts the Steeler's in to have any shot at a playoff spot. Also I am stunned at what happened to the "G" men in New York over the last couple of weeks. They absolutely beat up on Washington which made most people, including myself, think watch out they could be a dangerous contender down the stretch. Then the very next week got completely annihilated by the Panthers and follow that up by being shamed by the Vikings. Yes granted today they were not playing anything but to lose by a combined score over two weeks of 85-16 means there is trouble and definitely some things that need to be looked over thoroughly in the off season. Well I guess that is all for my first post but I am looking forward to finally being able to have my own blog on here and will continue jotting down my musings
